Housekeeper Responsibilites


A hotel housekeeper ensures that rooms and common areas are cleaned daily to meet hotel standards.   • Housekeepers are also responsible for checking for any items left behind by guests and handing them over to the lost and found desk for safekeeping.

  • Additionally, housekeepers assess the overall condition of the room, ensuring that everything is clean and in proper working order.

Respond to guest request promptly and efficiently

Stock housekeeping carts with necessary supplies and transport them to the assigned area

Enter guest rooms following proper protocols for privacy and security

Replace used amenities in guest rooms and restock as needed


Provide fresh linens and remove soiled ones


Make beds, fold linens, and ensure bathrooms are spotless


Inspect room appliances to confirm they are functioning correctly

Dust furniture and walls, and remove any smudges or marks

Perform floor care tasks in both hallways and guest rooms
